We are now looking for a driven and solution-oriented Systems Developer for SAP to join us at Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS). We offer you the chance to develop and influence today’s system, in a key role in a dynamic and challenging environment. The location for this position is Sandviken.

Job Summary

In this position, you are an important part of our team, delivering both project activities and application management. You are responsible for developing the SAP systems and integration software, with focus on the SAP PLM system within SMS in regard to scalability, security, accessibility and extendibility. Your daily work includes: suggesting solutions and functionality to Business Partners; designing, creating and testing program source code; handling incidents and requests. Furthermore, you collaborate and communicate with the team and organization and keep them informed of business issues and assignment updates. By actively participating in development projects, you secure the knowledge transfer within the business and coordinate development resources with colleagues in the development of applications.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in IT Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have at least a year’s experience from working with SAP systems development. Experience from working SAP PLM, ABAP OO and SAP PI is a must to be successful in this position. As we operate in an international setting, you have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
