Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation President & Chief Executive Officer

The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, the repository of Wright's life work, is seeking a talented, business-savvy leader with an appreciation for Frank Lloyd Wright's legacy to lead the Foundation in fulfilling its mission, vision, goals and programs.

This is a unique, challenging leadership position that requires the skills and sensitivities to maintain and operate historic structures, an accredited school, a residential community, a product licensing program and a visitor center in Arizona that attracts more than 100,000 guests from around the world each year.

The President/CEO will provide strategic, forward-thinking business leadership to continue a transformation that the Foundation has undertaken to upgrade facilities, to rethink its long- and short-term goals, and to advance its national and international presence. The President/CEO will lead the Foundation in sharing with the world Wright's visionary ideas about architecture and design, and their importance to society and to the individual.

The President/CEO reports to and works collaboratively with the Board of Trustees. Together with Trustees and staff, the President/CEO will be responsible for cultivating major donors and expanding earned revenues.

Qualified candidates for this position will hold an advanced degree in their field of study and have a minimum of ten years of progressive leadership/management experience. A strong background in operations, financial management and results-proven fundraising is required. The candidate's background must include management responsibility in a multidimensional, multicultural organization, and documented success in prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines. Suitable candidates will have a demonstrated appreciation for and understanding of art, architecture and design.

The President/CEO travels extensively representing the Foundation. The headquarters for the Foundation are in Scottsdale, AZ; residency in AZ it is not a requirement for this position.
