The Global Knowledge Office (GKO) promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration across IFC and works closely with departmental Knowledge Management (KM) Officers to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and standards while ensuring crossfertilization of good practices. The GKO‘s goals are to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, strengthen industry and functional expertise, establish global thought leadership in private sector development, and create a sustainable knowledge and learning culture on a corporate and departmental level.

The Global Head of Knowledge will work with IFC’s senior management and departmental KM officers to develop and execute the operating plan. He/she will focus on GKO management, including the budget, as well as KM governance, products & content, technology & standards and program monitoring & evaluation. Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, International Relations or a related field and 12+ years’ experience preferably in financial services organizations.
  • Significant experience in managing KM programs for an operational department as well as decentralized operations will be an advantage.
  • Innovative and self-motivated with a background in IT involving process analysis, design and re-engineering and knowledge-related IT tools.
  • Project/Program Management experience including designing, planning and implementing knowledge-related initiatives, collaborating with other teams and executing KM related programs and events.
