This volunteer opportunity with ActionAid is a great opportunity to use your coordination and project management skills in a major international charity while gaining valuable work experience and playing a part in realising the rights of Afghan women.
Join us and you will support our Women’s Rights and Advocacy teams by administrating the Afghan Women’s Parliamentary Network. The Network seeks to keep parliamentarians and decision makers informed about key issues affecting women’s rights, particularly violence against women and girls, in Afghanistan. You will help coordinate and expand the membership of the network and ensure regular newsletters are produced with informative and engaging content.
You’ll be the kind of person who has an interest in women’s rights and is naturally good with people. You will have well developed communication, admin and PC skills coupled with an eye for detail. Excellent at multitasking you will also be a strong team player who is able take the initiative and prioritise work- loads when needed.
