Salary: £30,000, depending on skills and experience
Start Date: 31 March 2014, or as soon as possible thereafter
Duration of Contract: This is a temporary position to provide maternity cover and will terminate on or before 21 April 2015 on the return of the Programme Manager, Conservation Capacity & Leadership from maternity leave.

FFI is seeking qualified candidates to provide temporary maternity cover for the position of Programme Manager, Conservation Capacity & Leadership. The position will take forward FFI’s work supporting organisational development for effective conservation, guiding planning and strategic processes across FFI’s networks to enable greater conservation effectiveness. The role will support both FFI’s own capacity development as well as lead a programme of partner support. You will have a passion for supporting and nurturing organisations to reach their potential, with the ability to maintain and develop collaborative relationships and networks and respond effectively to the varied and flexible needs of FFI’s global staff and partner base. Your experience with conservation project management and understanding of NGOs means you inherently understand organisational development limitations and opportunities, and can identify ways forward. With excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills, working closely with colleagues, you will be able to enthuse and engage staff and partners in this work.
