As part of a growing Desktop Support team within Learning and Information Services the role provides computer support to all departments at the Thornton Science Park site of the University. Duties include the development and deployment of computer software images, support for all computers provided for student and staff use and supervision of the desktop support team at Thornton.
You must have a degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline and experience within an IT environment which provides customer support. Experience of a range of operating systems, major application software, desktop hardware for both PCs and Apple Macintosh devices and the building of software images is essential.
