For the Sector Labour & Social Policy of Ecorys in the Netherlands we are looking for a Senior Consultant Labour Market & Participation (m/f).

Workplace environment

Ecorys offers its clients a broad range of products and services in areas such as macro-economics, labour market, energy, environment and transport. The Sector Labour & Social Policy is part of the practice Social Economics, which consists of 25 professionals working on Dutch and European Projects regarding the labour market, participation, income, education, culture and healthcare. We offer consulting services such as programme monitoring, economic and financial feasibility analysis, impact assessment, forecasting, policy and programme evaluation and project management. 

Position

The Senior Consultant will be expected to support the development of the sector Labour & Social Policy by developing new business opportunities and work on the implementation of projects, both on the Dutch and European market. As the main researcher, you will lead project teams and maintain close contact with all parties involved. You will also contribute to developing the knowledge, (quantitative) methods and products of the sector Labour & Social Policy. Qualifications

You have finished an academic programme as economist or econometrist. You have at least 10 years of experience in the area of labour market and participation policy within the Netherlands and the EU. You are also an experienced project leader with at least 5 years of experience in leading project teams, and you posses excellent quantitative skills. You have a broad professional network. You are a professional that fits within the distinctive, substantially driven, informal culture within Ecorys, and you have mastered the English and Dutch language. You understand the content of research projects and you can easily convert complex materials into a policy advise. You are ambitious, customer focused, venturous and a team player.
