The purpose of this post is to assist the specialist tasked with the maintenance of the client operating systems and client software, supporting up to 1800 devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices etc.

The main responsibilities may include:

  • Deploy Software via Altiris or Microsoft deployment tools or remote or manual installation methods;
  • Evaluate users’ problems and perform activities necessary for the immediate short-term resolution or escalation of incidents and service requests connected to software deployment or changes in the hardware platforms these deployments target;
  • Troubleshoot PGP, TCP/IP, VPN and network related issues;
  • Perform any other task assigned by the line manager.

Your profile:

We are looking for technical assistants from all EU Member States, who have:
  • Experience in an IT Helpdesk and Service Desk environment;
  • Sound knowledge of Information Technology, especially in the field of desktop applications and desktop PC technology; 
  • Sound knowledge of ICT security technologies and concept.

Indicative monthly salary:

In addition, if applicable, allowances such as expatriation allowance, household allowance, dependent child allowance and education may be granted. Europol also offers a comprehensive welfare package.
