General Engineering Supervisor (GES) Marula

Marula Platinum Limited is situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Indigenous Complex near Burgersfort. We are looking for the right calibre candidate for this position:

General Engineering
Supervisor (GES)
Marula

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

• N4 plus a recognised Trade Certificate
• Valid Red Ticket
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Foreman on surface and underground conveyor belts
• Experience in and/or exposure to underground conveyor belt extension and maintenance, underground tip rock breakers, vibrating feeders, main ventilation fans, de-watering systems, and compressed air reticulation systems
• Self-driven, highly motivated, and with preparedness to work overtime and be on standby.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and co-ordinating maintenance and breakdowns of the section
• Compiling budget and overall cost control reports
• Using SAP planned maintenance system
• All spares and consumable stock control
• Maintaining discipline in his/her area of responsibility and ensuring subordinates’ adherence to Marula rules, regulations and procedures
• Ensuring and enforcing compliance with the MHSA Act (29 of 1996), and with Health and Environmental policies.
