Senior Town Planner Cardno

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to join our Environment and Planning team in Perth. The Senior Town Planner will lead the planning portion of development projects, perform detailed planning work with minimal oversight, and work with clients to successfully complete projects to exceed client goals and expectations.

The successful applicants will have the following skills and attributes:

• A degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent
• Approximately 8 – 10 years experience
• Experience in statutory and/or strategic planning
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work either independently or in a team environment when necessary
• A background in consultancy is preferred
• Ability to mentor and develop graduate and junior planners

Skills and experience will be appropriately rewarded with a competitive package

• Applying guidance and experience to more complex projects undertaken by the team
• Project management

• Preparation of planning reports, studies, designs, applications
