Campaigner – Syria, Lebanon & Jordan

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a campaigner to join us to help us uphold human rights in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan. Working as part of the East Mediterranean Team at the International Secretariat, you will act as a focal point providing advice and support to our worldwide membership, including devising campaigning strategies, preparing written and other campaigning materials and providing research support.

ABOUT YOU

You will have excellent campaigning skills and experience and good organizational and communication skills, including the ability to prioritize. You will have detailed knowledge, preferably including field experience, of Syria, Lebanon and Jordan and will need to show impartiality and have knowledge of and commitment to human rights. You must also have strong research skills, an understanding of membership organizations and the capability both to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team, often under pressure. You will need to be fluent in English and have a good working knowledge of spoken and written Arabic.
