Islamabad, Pakistan – DFID Pakistan Empowering Voices and Accountability for Better Health and Nutrition Project
GRM Futures Group seeks to employ a Finance Officer to assist Senior Manager Finance and Operations in corporate accounting and taxation of branch office.
The objective of the programme is to increase the demand for better Reproductive Maternal Neonatal and Child Health (RMNCH) services and nutrition and empower citizens to hold the service providers to account. Women, girls and children with the greatest needs and from underserved backgrounds will be prioritized.
The Finance Officer will assist in liaison with taxation departments and corporate law authorities in Pakistan. The position will support SMFO in day to day financial transactions, dealing with bank, accounting and admin matters for Programme and Branch and also assist in filing of documentation and due diligence/risk assessment of potential grantees during RFAs and implementation of HANIF.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Expertise in MS Office specially Microsoft Excel
  • Articles completed from a renowned firm of Chartered Accountants
  • At least 1 year international development sector experience
  • Knowledge of corporate and individual taxation
  • CA part qualified preferably Foundation/ Inter Completed with Articles completed from top 10 firms with 1 year experience after qualification
  • MBA Finance and Accounting with 5 years’ experience after qualification
