GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Successful candidate will efficiently operate all areas of crushing with minimal supervision to ensure maximum throughput and recovery while maintaining the lowest practical level of consumable material usage. Operate gyratory, standard and shorthead crusher, screening plants and conveyors, as well as dust control systems. Operate dozer and related heavy equipment. Other duties as assigned.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience in crusher / mill areas and associated equipment operations including: gyratory, standard, and shorthead crusher, screening plants and conveyors, dust control systems, heavy equipment, mill circuits including primary grinding and thickening, reagent makeup, main leaching circuit, wash circuit, CIP and CC circuits, STR circuit, cyanide recovery/destruction circuits, carbon strip and reactivation circuits and pit water treatment plant required.
• Ability to understand and operate analytical equipment that may be required to complete routine operational duties including but not limited to the pH meters, and assay lab AA preferred.
• Demonstrated ability and knowledge to perform routine operations and associated maintenance duties including rebuilding cyclones and changing screens required.
• Proven safe work record required.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision required.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions required.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required.
