Diesel Mechanic

Afrimat Aggregates: Western Cape, Worcester Workshop is currently seeking the services of a hard-working qualified individual, reporting to the Workshop Manager.

Diesel Mechanic

Requirements:

• In possession of a diesel mechanic qualification
• Five years’ experience in all aspects of repairs and maintenance of equipment in the field and in a workshop environment
• Experience with the hydraulic and electronic technology on newer models
• A valid unendorsed code 14 (EC) driver’s licence
• A mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and solve problems
• Ability to function independently without supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Prepared to work overtime (including Saturdays).

Responsibilities:

• Complete job cards
• Provide information on parts to be ordered
• Assist in training learners.
