Senior Project Officer Australian Council for Educational Research
The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is an independent not-for-profit educational research and development organisation that provides services and materials throughout Australia and internationally.
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Officer to provide support to ACER’s international projects and to the Manager and Director of International Development. This role involves close liaison with interstate and overseas clients, and regular communication with ACER staff throughout Australia and overseas.
As Senior Project Officer you will coordinate the development of education knowledge products for clients located both within Australia and overseas, and process and coordinate consultancy research work distributed to ACER. You will assist with the organisation of professional development events for clients, monitor project timelines, provide quality assurance and contribute to evaluations of projects.
A key aspect of the role will involve website updating and supporting the development of innovative e-learning and other online professional development materials for clients, including through the use of social networking tools. The role involves the strategic promotion of ACER’s international work and requires a highly organised individual who can develop and maintain systems for coordinating a number of tasks simultaneously.
The Senior Project Officer will hold a tertiary qualification, preferably in the area of education and/or development, and will ideally have experience in the development of online learning materials.
