AAM Management Information Consulting Ltd (Hungary) is looking for an experienced Strategic Planning Expert (Team Leader) for the WB funded project "Self Meter Reading Communication and Outreach Activity in Kayole Soweto, Nairobi, Kenya.
The project is currently at the bidding phase and we are looking for a team of experts who would be interested in the implementation and processes all qualifications and skills required for the positions. The project is expected to start in 16 June 2014 to 15 September 2014.
The overall objective of the project is to promote, sensitize and secure buy-in for 'Jisomee Mita' (an application for remote water metering in SMS) by the residents in the nine zones within Kayole Soweto settlements.The expected main tasks of the assignment are the following:
  • Developing an effective brand strategy and brand elements for Jisomee Mita
  • Engaging, training and supervision of field assistants
  • Design and production of promotion materials
  • Logistics planning and scheduling
  • Facilitation and event management
  • Conducting village roadshows or similar outreach to communities
  • Documentation
  • Oracle Financials related activities for Jisomee Mita
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
  • At least 62 working days in Nairobi, Kenya

Qualifications and skills:
  • Master’s degree in marketing or any related field
General professional experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in providing business support
Specific professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in conducting awareness campaigns and large scale marketing campaigns
  • Experience in conducting similar assignments in developing countries in Africa
  • Experience in Kenya would be considered an asset
