Open Pit Surveyor United States-Nevada
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Provide basic surveying duties associated with an open pit mine environment to the Mining and Exploration Groups. Work effectively as part of a team. Understand basic survey concepts retarding calculations of right angle trigonometry. Other duties as assigned.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Proven safe work record required.
• Ability to life and carry 40 lbs required.
• Ability to walk on uneven ground and to work in all weather conditions required.
• Ability to operate a light vehicle required.
• Ability to use survey software, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to work within a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
