About Your Job:
The Premium Lounge Manager is a vacancy in London Heathrow Premium Lounge and reports directly to the Airport Services Manager in Heathrow Airport.
Managing a team of 5 Supervisors, the role is responsible for organising resources effectively and coordinating activities to ensure efficient, productive and risk free operation throughout the Lounge which includes the areas of Front of House, Food and Beverage Service and Production and Housekeeping. You will provide management assistance and active leadership in the service delivery for the entirety of the Premium Lounge.
You will plan, resource and manage daily operations of the Lounge as per the Standard Operating Procedures. You will ensure that visual appearance of the operational area is of the highest standard and ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained per shift. You will lead in managing conflict resolution and facilitate service recovery situations with guests and staff.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of University degree or equivalent. A formal qualification in hospitality business management is an advantage. You must have 5 year experience in a premium hospitality/service environment with Food and Beverage/ Guest Services as principal responsibility. You must have demonstrated ability to manage relationships at all levels and have been in a leadership role preferably within premium hospitality/airline/hotel service.
Key to this role, you must have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. You must be people focused and versatile to be able to adapt to the varied needs of the operations as well as people. You must be able to analyse situations and creative in providing effective solutions to problem.
