Business Line Manager, General Industry SEA

Job description 
In line with our ambitious growth targets and huge potential of the South East Asia market we are now looking for a highly qualified and motivated Business Line Manager for the General Industry (GI) Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in one of the most challenging and exciting markets in the world. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, you will have direct responsibility for the Sales & Marketing team in Thailand and oversee the General Industry business in Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines and Singapore.Reporting to General Manager CC SEA, you will be responsible for revenues and profit, performance and development of the sales team, recruitment and development of sales channels, introduction of new products and promotions, and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Mission 
Your mission will be to grow the business within SEA in line with our ambitious customer centre targets. The priority is to increase our top line growth considerably, whilst maintaining good profitability. You shall increase market coverage, increase customer share and drive transformation so that we become and remain "First in Choice, first in Mind" in all of our target segments. In this challenging position, your responsibilities amongst others will include:- Drive top line revenue growth;- Maintain profitability in line with defined goals;- Increase significantly the number of buying customers in the region;- Identify growth opportunities in the key segments and territories; - Develop and execute an a business plan, customized for the local market that is in line with the global General Industry strategy;- Lead, coach and manage sales team in line with the company people management strategy and related principles;- Appoint, develop and manage distribution network in line with Distribution policy;- Maximize utilization of product management and marketing communication as well as customer support to contribute to business objectives;- Ensure good relationships Division Management, Product Marketing, and Asia Centre Of Excellence and involve them in local activities;- Ensure continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, maintain and develop relationships with key personnel of key customers within the region;- It is envisaged that a minimum of 50% of working time will need to be spent in the market.

Experience requirements 
- Five years of sales and/or sales management experience of industrial products or similar (both direct and through distribution).

Knowledge 
- Technically and commercially oriented.- Thorough understanding of organizational finance.- Comfortable working at all levels of customer employees.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Need to be computer literate with standard office systems. - Driving license and willingness to travel regularly within Thailand / SEA- Must be fluent in English.

Educational requirements 
- University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
