W3 Professorship Public Law and European Law

The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU), Faculty of Law, invites applications for the following position, starting on October 1, 2015.
W3 Professorship Public Law and European Law
It is expected that candidates will teach and conduct research in German (and possibly comparative) Public Law and European Law. The focus of the position is European Law. Candidates should continue high visibility activities, such as significant research projects, conferences and renowned guest speakers.
It is expected that candidates will contribute to teaching obligatory courses in German public law as well as in specialization area no. 6 (International and European Law).
Applicants must meet the legal requirements for appointments of professors in accordance with § 100 of the “Berliner Hochschulgesetz”. Candidates should demonstrate successful teaching experience, excellent research activities and international collaborations.
HU seeks to increase the proportion of women in research and teaching, and specifically encourage qualified female researchers to apply. Applications of researchers from abroad are welcome. Preference will be given to disabled persons with equal qualifications. Applicants with migration background are highly welcome.
