Program Manager (Agri-Financial Services)

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the largest global development institution focused on the private sector, helps developing countries to achieve sustainable growth by financing investment, mobilizing capital in international financial markets, and providing advisory services to businesses and governments.

The Program Manager will provide strategic and technical oversight to the Ukraine Agri-Financial Services that include three projects. The Agri-Insurance project facilitates the development of agri-insurance in Ukraine by improving the regulatory environment, strengthening sector representative structures, and upgrading technical capacity in agri-insurance. The Agri-Finance project promotes agri-lending of financial institutions to farms, having developed comprehensive tools. The Crop Receipts project is in preparation, with the aim to introduce Crop Receipts as an alternative pre-harvest financing instrument for farms and other entities within the supply chain.

The right candidate will have strong drive and initiative, a successful track record in management (preferably in private sector development in transition economies), experience in agri-finance/banking (at least 10 years), training/teaching/consulting skills, preferably in comparable conditions, strong commercial orientation, excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, Ukrainian or Russian language skills are desired.
