JOB BRIEF:
International Organisation’s Pre-Sales Area from everis based in Barcelona is looking for a SENIOR ICT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT with professional background with International Organisations projects delivery, passionate for sales, and out-of-box mind-set, to produce high-quality technical documents. As part of the preparation of tenders for International Organisations (e.g. European Commission and Agencies, European Patent Office, NATO, United Nations, etc.), the candidate will join a multidisciplinary pre-sales team, 100% committed to innovative bid preparations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Produce high-quality ICT approaches to specific technical questions (e.g. related to Software Development Lifecycle, Architecture, Service Operation, ICT Security, Infrastructure Management) to International Organisations tenders that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Coordinate with internal and external (i.e. from partners, leaders and subcontractors) IT technical teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the services offered, technologies and products used
  • Participate on technical workshops with IT technical experts. Ability to translate technical team's information into necessary input for the questions
  • Incorporate the latest IT technical trends to the bid preparation (e.g. through market analysis research)
  • Analyse existing material and produce creative and innovative designs
  • Write solid documents regardless of the topic
REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: 
  • Mandatory excellent spoken and written skills in English (minimum C1). Being an English native speaker will be considered as an asset
  • Desirable proficient spoken skills in Spanish (minimum B1)
Experience:  
  • Mandatory at least 5 years of experience in ICT projects/services delivery for International Organisations: European Commission and Agencies (e.g. DIGIT with DESIS or STIS, DG TAXUD, OHIM, European Parliament), United Nations, NATO, European Patent Office, etc.
  • Experience in the preparation of tenders for International Organisations will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in approaching and designing customised solutions to specific issues (e.g. architecture design, software development activities methodologies, IT tools, etc.)
Skills: 
  • Strong ICT background
  • High knowledge in some of the ICT methodologies/techniques, best practices and tools: Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Agile/Scrum, DevOps, TMap, Eclipse, Visual Studio), IT Security standards and methods (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 27005, OSA, NIST, OSSTMM, ISSAF, OWASP), Architecture concepts (mainly TOGAF), ICT Infrastructure and Operation (e.g. Mainframe, Middleware, Application Servers, Networking, Infrastructure Management, etc.), Project Management (mainly PMP, PRINCE2) and IT Services Management (mainly ITIL)
  • Excellent writing skills – analysis and synthesis
  • Ability to understand International Organisations business needs and opportunities, in order to create innovative approaches
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying special attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Personal competencies:
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and conceptualisation e.g. systems thinking and design
  • Tech geek and eager to stay up-to-date to the latest technological trends
  • Time management. Organise its time efficiently and deliver on time
Education:
  • Technical education in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
  • Getting a technical PhD and/or Master will be considered as an asset
  • Relevant technical IT certifications will be considered as an asset:
  1. Enterprise Architecture such as TOGAF 9, CTA, Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect or CTA
  2. Information Security such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH or GSEC
  3. Software Testing/Quality Assurance such as ISTQB, CAST, CSTE, CSTP, CTM, CMST, CASQ, HP QTP or HP HP0-M102
  4. ICT Infrastructure and Operations such as Cloud (AWS-CSA, CompTIA Cloud+, MCSD, MCSE, COA), Data Center (MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, DCDC), Network (CCIE, JNCIE-ENT, CompTIA Network+) and Virtualization (VCP6-DCV, CCP-V)
  5. Service Management such as ITIL
  6. Project Management such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM (Scrum Master), CAPM, CSSBB, CSSGB, CompTIA, CPMP, Associate in Project Management, MPM, PPM, PMITS or Certified Project Director
