Services
OpenCastLabs is often engaged by Governments, Non Profits, individuals and corporation to develop solutions, carry out ad-hoc surveys, baselines, midterms and impact research.
Objective
Title: Associate Lead Consultant
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Kigali, Rwanda with extensive travel across Rwanda.
OpenCastLabs is seeking an Associate Lead Consultant in an upcoming project in Rwanda with travel throughout the country. The project will take 4 – 5 Months, but the consultant will be required to actively put up to 2.5 Months.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or a related field is a required.
- Must have published in at least one refereed journal
- Experience in working on donor funded projects (USAID, DFID, Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Clinton Foundation and other major donors)
- More than 7 years’ experience in disease incidence surveillance, TB & Malaria Research
- Knowledge of at least 2 statistical analyses software (STATA, SPSS, CSPro, NutriSurvey, SAS)
- Knowledge of any one GIS Software (ArcView GIS, Grass GIS)
- More than 10 years’ experience of data collection, data analysis and report writing
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and training skills
- Excellent written and spoken Kinyarwanda and English preferred
- Experience working on development projects in a developing country
- Proven experience handling field surveys, managing teams, mentoring and coaching
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications
