The Senior Regional Operations Specialist (SROS) function plays a key role in the operations/service quality promotion within our Western Union network.
The main responsibility of the SROS is to ensure smooth liaison between the internal Western Union operation departments.
The SROS will also animate, supervise, monitor the quality service and train Western Union Agents. In this role, he/she will travel regularly, visiting our agents, some locations and maintaining the product knowledge and location adequacy according to our WU standards. The SROS will participate to the monitoring of the other money transfer company competing with Western Union. The SROS will closely work with the ROM (Regional Operations Manager) in the region to ensure follow up on various operations projects, such as new agent enrolment and training.
Qualifications
- 3-5y work experience is required
- Fluency in English required. Ferench is a plus, as well as Portuguese
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Computer literate, strong technical background
- Self motivated person, team player and well organized
- Bachelors Degree required
- Ability to travel intensively (up to 40%)
