Supporter Development and Retention Manager

Location: Vauxhall, London
Salary: from £41,956 to £48,227 per annum

Today 4,000 children around the world will die simply because they have nowhere safe to go to the toilet and because they have no choice but to drink filthy, dirty water. Tomorrow will be the same, and the day after and the day after that, until we create a world where everyone has access to clean water and basic, safe toilets.

And today you can choose to do something about it.

We're looking for a talented direct marketer and strategic leader. Someone with a proven track record of managing a team to deliver on challenging targets. Someone who can apply direct marketing knowledge and expertise to a range of different audiences. Someone who is able to identify and seize opportunities, strategically manage risk and lead a team to success.

If that's you, you can choose to apply for our Supporter Development and Retention Manager post and in doing so change the lives of millions of people.

You'll be managing an established Supporter Development and Retention team that's critical in the systematic growth of sustainable, unrestricted income for WaterAid. You will be responsible for maximising commitment and deeper engagement with WaterAid's 280,000+ individual supporters; and for developing and innovating within the current product portfolio, which includes regular giving, cash appeals, legacies, in memoriam giving, high value giving and e-commerce.

You'll take specific responsibility for the delivery of campaigning communications, the development of direct marketing appeals to all WaterAid audiences and lead the provision of direct marketing services to a range of other teams.

You'll need proven experience of managing a complex direct marketing programme; have experience of getting the best out of a range of different suppliers and the drive to continually develop and refine a programme to achieve growth. You'll be a natural leader who is driven; delivery focussed and inspires confidence in a team.
