Development Analyst , Caterpillar

This position is responsible for providing analytical sample processing to support S•O•SSM Services initiatives. The incumbent uses a variety of analytical techniques and wet chemistry to process oil, fuel, source water and/or coolant samples submitted by customers, and may also be responsible for training new Caterpillar Inc. employees in laboratory processes.

Requirements:

• A four-year degree in Chemistry or related field (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc) or equivalent work experience, which must include a minimum of four years’ direct lab experience
• Working knowledge of ICP and FT-IR analytical techniques
• Laboratory skills
• Computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in and willingness to operate in a team environment.
