It works in  the areas of health and nutrition, early childhood development, basic  education, child protection and social policy, planning, monitoring and  evaluation.
Supply & Logistics Assistant (GS5)

Under  the general supervision of the Procurement Manager, the successful  candidate will take charge of all procurement functions (tendering,  adjudication, award recommendations, etc) and shipping activities for an  assigned group of country offices, and for maintaining the contractual  relationships with the freight forwarding and inspection providers.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary education (Grade 12)
• Logistics/Supply Chain Management certification would be an advantage
• Three years’ progressively responsible experience with commercial institutions in shipping and supply functions
• SAP experience would be an advantage.

Duration: This is a fixed-term contract position for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
