Associate Professor in Design

The School of Communication Arts, University of Western Sydney, is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Design. This ongoing position requires a range of skills and knowledge in convergent media, communication and design.
The Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) is located within the College of Arts. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in communication, design and music where specialist curriculum supports interdisciplinary pathways reflecting convergence in design and media practices.
The positions will be based at the Penrith campus with the possibility of travel to the other campuses of UWS.
Remuneration Package from 13 May 2011: Associate Professor (Academic Level D) $140,929 to $154,788 p.a. (comprising Salary of $119,411 to $131,256 p.a.; 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
