Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Management Studies

Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualifications in Accounting or Business Administration, preferably at the PhD level, from a recognized University and an acceptable professional qualification in Accounting.

Experience:
Considerable experience in teaching at the University level and/or in the practice of Accounting at a senior level in industry or in an accounting environment

Areas of Specialization:
Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Information Systems and Management Accounting. Ability to teach in any other Management discipline would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
Teaching, research and curriculum development in the field of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. Must be willing to teach in the Evening University. Supervision of postgraduate students in Accounting research.

Personal Attributes:
Good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to the Vision and Mission of the Department.
