We are currently looking for a bright engineer (Microsoft technologies) to join our Operational IT team. The successful candidate will thrive on challenges, will have a strong work ethic and is motivated with a passion to learn new technologies.

You will be required towork within the iSolutions Operational IT group and be involved in a wide range of operational IT processes involving internal stakeholders and external clients. Opportunities exist to learn and conquer deployment and administration of Microsoft Server technologies.

Desired Skills & Experience

Responsibilities include...

  • Provide product support to clients (often at remote sites)
  • Provide remote software deployment and configuration to clients
  • Configure, maintain and support company IT systems (hardware, software, networks)
  • Maintain telecommunications (VoIP) systems
  • Contribute to the on going development of technical documentation and processes

  • Love solving technical problems
  • Demonstrate the ability to transform technical knowledge into practical business solutions
  • Enjoy writing scripts to automate repetitive tasks
  • Have some experience administering and troubleshooting networks based on Microsoft technologies
  • Have the desire to take things apart to learn how they work

Bonus qualities...

  • A degree in an IT discipline
  • MCSE equivalent certification or tertiary accreditation
  • Commercial experience providing application and/or infrastructure support
  • Exposure to Microsoft server technologies – eg. virtualisation, SQL Server, ASP.Net
  • Experience with .NET application deployment and configuration
  • SQL query writing skills
