Position Summary:
Serving as the primary leader of customer business operations for the respective Category, the Category Business Development Manager is responsible for: monthly S&OP/BLT Customer Marketing call (13 wk window) for all Knorr brands, Monthly Field Business Reviews across Sectors and daily business operations across all customers/channels. The Knorr Category Business Development Manager (CBDM) reports directly to the Director of Customer Marketing. In addition, this position is the primary Customer Development interface for all Category Brand Development innovation input up to Market Ready/Deployment Gate – including applicable U.S. input to Global Brand Development. This position will also lead key projects/initiatives for the Category – respective Food Integrated Mareting Model (IMM) thrusts, S&OP process/integrity, connectivity with Field Business Development, Pricing and oversees all elements of key national meetings for the Category. The CBDM will have daily interaction with the Customer Marketing Director (CMD), Category Business Development VP, Brand Building Director, and Marketing Leadership members and act as a proxy for the CMD as necessary.

Position Responsibilities:
1. Lead Category customer business operations including: Monthly Sales & Ops Planning/IMM Leadership Team (IMMLT), Monthly Business Reviews with all Field Sectors and daily business operations with respect to all customers/channels and all Category brands. The CBDM will have daily interaction with IMMLT members.
2. Primary Category interface for all Brand Development Innovation input (i.e. U.S. Customer into Category) from Idea to Market Ready/Deployment Gate including: Customer feedback, IFTs, BASES, IPT/Gate meetings, etc. – enabling breakthrough innovation market readiness On Time In Full (OTIF). The CBDM is the primary CD Category representative on the IMM LT. Position will have daily interaction with BB Director and also provide applicable U.S. CD input to the Global Brand team.
3. Lead key projects/initiatives for the Category – Sales and Operations process/integrity, connectivity with Field Business Development, Category Pricing and oversee all elements of key national meetings – leading the development, pre-reads, presentations and required actions/follow-ups.
4. Collaborate with Field Business Development on opportunity and risk management/action plans for the Category

Key Experience:
5-8 years experience including 5+ years in Customer Development, 2+ years direct key Customer responsibility. There will be strong consideration for highly developmental cross-functional candidates with the appropriate experience, skills and competencies.

Strong understanding of all data sources: Merlin, syndicated (Nielsen, IRI), POS/Retail Link, Consumer and Shopper insights, and the respective day to day business applications.

This is considered a highly developmental position to prepare individuals for additional senior CD/BB responsibility after a 2 year timeframe through a very unique/empowering experience.
