Policy Advisor:

We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our business as a Policy Advisor. Reporting directing into the Senior Manager of Policy and Partnerships;

you will be an integral part of a diverse team where your role will be to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key policymakers and donors in order to reduce barriers and restrictions which inhibit the effective delivery of reproductive health services by Marie Stopes International country programmes.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring international policy and dialogue relevant to country programmes (such as MDG5);
• offering international team support, such as training and technical assistance; support in mapping their in-country policies and helping them to identify and overcome potential barriers in delivery of reproductive health services.

The ideal candidate will be confident in the production and dissemination of concise policy briefs and position papers as well as take the initiative in piloting new opportunities.
