Support Consultant

The support consultant will be expected to provide user support to PPO users and partners. Exact guidelines and processes have been set in place to assist the support consultant in this job. A typical day will consist mainly of answering support calls logged by users and managing all functions required for support.PPO undergoes frequent version releases and enhancements - the support consultant will be required to assist with these releases.


The support consultant will also be required to do the monthly invoicing, address finance related queries, follow up debtors, manage the payment of partner commissions, load debit orders and so forth. Finally, the support consultant will be required to perform additional administration tasks if and when required.

The proposed starting date is 1 May 2012.

Support Responsibilities:

  • Provide written and verbal user support to Project Portfolio Office (PPO) clients
  • Coordinate and manage all support activities (first, second and third line)
  • Manage user satisfaction
  • Managing user expectations
  • Liaise with technical team
  • Assist in marketing drives and initiatives due to interaction with users
  • Write and send correspondence and notifications to partners and clients
  • Coordinate training events

Other Minor Responsibilities:

  • Compile and send monthly invoices (and debit orders)
  • Follow up with Debtors
  • Check and approve supplier invoices & partner commissions
  • Managing the BEE programme
  • General office administration

Desired Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 3 year diploma / degree
  • B Average in Grade 12
  • 3 years + Work Experience
