Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Personality or Individual Differences

The School of Psychology wishes to make four appointments to outstanding researchers in areas of human associative learning, emotion, cognitive or behavioural neuroscience, life span development, personality or individual differences, or clinical psychology. Expertise in advanced quantitative design and analysis is sought for one of the positions, and other successful applicants will need to demonstrate a capacity to teach undergraduate courses in learning, motivation and emotion, abnormal psychology, or lifespan development.

Successful applicants will hold a PhD in psychology, will have an established record of research and publication, and demonstrated expertise in quality teaching. Appointees will be based at the Bankstown Campus of UWS.

The University reserves the right to appoint at an Academic Level B (Lecturer) or Academic Level C (Senior Lecturer) depending upon the skills, qualifications and experience of the successful applicants.

Remuneration Package from 13 May 2011: Lecturer (Academic Level B) $96,915 to $114,361 p.a. (comprising Salary of $81,894 to 96,703 p.a.; 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading); Senior Lecturer (Academic Level C) $117,823 to $135,155 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,662 to $114,476 p.a.; 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
