Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for one position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, in Physical Chemistry, in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. This position will be permanent and pensionable for Lesotho nationals but full time on contract for a period of two years with a possibility of renewal for non-locals.
REQUIREMENTS:
A PhD or MSC degree qualification in Physical Chemistry is required. A PhD holder will have a priority. Appropriate teaching and research experiences at University level are essential. The successful candidate will commence duty in August 2011.
DUTIES:
Teaching various Physical Chemistry courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including supervision of undergraduate laboratory classes, supervision of senior undergraduate students’ projects and post graduate students’ researches are demanded. Initiation of research activities or taking part in those of the Department is required. Other duties could be assigned by the department from time to time.
