With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong Region and home to more than 300 million people in the region.
WWF Greater Mekong Programme is seeking a Marketing Director to establish and implement marketing and fundraising strategies and to raise funds by building a regional marketing team.
The Marketing Director establishes and implements medium to long-term marketing and fundraising strategies, with the bottom line of growing brand awareness and raising unrestricted funds to meet operational cost requirements, covering adequate reserves with the long-term objective of expanding the conservation impact of WWF Greater Mekong Program Office. As a member of the Regional Management Team, he/she shares responsibility for the overall performance of the Programme Office.
Location: Bangkok, Thailand or Hanoi, Vietnam
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Marketing, accounts management, financial services, sales or in relevant fields
• 7 years practical experience in fundraising with corporate and individual donors at regional level, 3 years of which should be in Greater Mekong Region or Southeast Asia
• Successful fundraising experience with annual accomplishment of 1-2 million USD
• Experience of working and negotiating with government officials and donors at all level
• Familiar with environmental and conservation issues in Greater Mekong Region
• Experience in leading teams based in different countries
• Knowledge of the business sector and specific companies (market intelligence) in Greater Mekong Region
