Regional Advocacy Managers

Based in: Pretoria & Dar es Salaam or Addis Ababa

Salary: competitive INGO salary

Lead, Inspire, Transform

Join our brand new teams across Africa, and you'll help us build on what we've achieved in our 30-year history – changing the way people think about water and sanitation, and putting these issues higher on the agenda than they've ever been. In this way, you'll help us transform the lives of millions of Africa's most vulnerable people, as you bring about change that’s never been seen.

You’ll lead the delivery of key regional initiatives relating to advocacy, policy analysis and research. In addition, you’ll have a pivotal role to play in driving global advocacy initiatives. Through your work, you’ll increase our influence and build on our success, while developing strong local partnerships and promoting positive change.

As a post-graduate in development studies, public policy, administration or a related field, you should understand technical and social issues relating to water, sanitation and hygiene education. It’s important that you understand these issues in the context of developing countries – both in urban and rural areas. You’ll also need considerable senior-level experience of carrying out advocacy, lobbying, campaigning and policy analysis work in your region.

All roles require extensive travel.
