Starting salary from £36,862 - £44,016 per annum with further progression opportunities to £48,096

Applications are invited at Senior Lecturer level in Event Management. You will have a strong research record and be able to demonstrate your ability and enthusiasm to contribute positively to the research output, reputation and educational activities of the Centre for Event and Sport Research as well as the wider activities of the School.

Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the event and leisure undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.

You will be PhD qualified, research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Any generic management expertise needs to have been demonstrated within the event context.
