Finance and Administration Manager

CARANA seeks a Finance and Administration Manager for a pending USAID project that will focus on facilitating agriculture investment in Northern Ghana.

Duties:

  • Provide wide range of financial, grants and administrative management for the project;
  • Prepare and submit financial and other cost accounting reports to the headquarters and donors;
  • Ensure adherence of financial and accounting policies and procedures; review vouchers, cash management reports, and other financial documents; initiate wire transfers in the bank system.

Preferred Competencies :

  • Must be fiscally responsible as he/she will be responsible for dispersing large sums of money;
  • Previous finance and administration management experience on a USAID project highly desired;
  • Ten years experience preparing project/company financial reports, reconciling project/company bank statements, managing bank accounts, managing and monitoring petty cash, preparing payroll, tracking expenses according to budget, maintaining records to meet tax requirements including payroll, customs and Value Added Tax (V.A.T) taxes;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Masters Degree preferred.
