Research Fellow, Computer Science & Informatics

University College Dublin’s School of Computer Science and Informatics (UCD CSI) are seeking to recruit a Research Fellow (or multiple fellows) to undertake leading edge research in the Performance Engineering Laboratory. This is part of an on-going research effort (Lero) funded by Science Foundation Ireland and is a multi-annual research initiative that involves multiple Universities and industry partners. The Performance Engineering Laboratory is one of the key research laboratories within UCD CSI, and its main goal is to focus on the design, simulation and demonstration of new technologies for future enterprise software and telecommunication systems.

The research fellow will carry out research in software and performance engineering within the performance of large scale enterprise systems. The research project is heavily focused on its design, simulation and demonstration on new technologies. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary group to work in liaison with current researchers on:
• Undertaking leading edge research in the domain of enterprise software
• Identifying and developing future research and funding initiatives
• Developing commercial R&D
• Working alongside and mentoring PhD students in this area

Salary: €46,544 - €68,817 per annum
Appointment on the above range will commensurate with qualifications and experience
