Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

CARANA seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for a pending USAID project that will focus on facilitating agriculture investment in Northern Ghana.

Duties:

  • Review activities of the project to assess results; monitor the impact of investment development and fund activities;
  • Gather and evaluate information and ensure that these findings are accurately presented in all USAID reporting and tracking tools including, but not limited to, the PMP, Workplan, and Monthly Reports;
  • Maintain information about the project on key public relations media such as the project’s website and newsletter and facilitate written communications by editing English language documents that will be released for publication or sent to USAID for internal reporting;
  • Must be willing and able to travel to Northern Ghana occasionally.


Preferred Competencies:

  • Must have relevant monitoring and evaluation experience within economic development and/or financial services sectors;
  • Preferably worked on USAID economic development projects;
  • Must be able and willing to travel to Northern Ghana;
  • Previous experience in designing tools of monitoring and evaluation is required;
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work with project staff and beneficiaries;
  • Strong communication skills are essential to write effectively and persuasively and be able to present information in a variety of settings and formats;
  • Master’s Degree in business administration, economics, statistics or related area of study or equivalent work experience.
