Administrative Assistant / Office Co-ordinator.

Our client, who specialises in the development, manufacture, marketing and selling of a range of innovative solar lighting solutions, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant / Office Co-ordinator.

Reporting to the Managing Director-Africa the Administrative Assistant / Office Co-ordinator will provide day to day administrative support to the Managing Director as well as the other team members in the office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating / leading administrative responsibilities for the Africa office
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Handling all travel arrangements including liaison with travel agents, car rental agents and hotels
  • Creating, composing and editing correspondence and other documents
  • Screening, distributing and prioritising incoming mail
  • Handling and responding to routine written and telephone enquiries
  • Managing information flow and ensuring confidentiality is maintained
  • Arranging and co-ordinating meetings
  • Ordering and controlling stationery and all other office supplies
  • Creating power point presentations

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years relevant office co-ordinator experience
  • Diploma/ Degree in Business Management
  • Excellent English language knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills with the Internet, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel as well as an aptitude to learn other in-house programs

The salary for this position is KShs 100,000 gross per month.
