Project/Proposal Summary:
MSI is streamlining its website based on user analytics and competitive research. The current proprietary CMS must be transferred to and rebuilt using WordPress as the new CMS. Landing pages will change, drop pages will be added, page will merge and inside-content will change. The current website can be found at http://www.msiworldwide.com.

Position Summary:
This is a two and a half week contract position. The design will be provided. The website programmer will create MSI’s website following designs provided to be coded in WordPress as the CMS.

The site should be ready to go live in about a week and a half from the start of the assignment with the remaining days to be used for feedback and changes.

Responsibilities:
• Work independently in constructing the CMS via WordPress publishing platform
• Adhere to MSI’s brand (logo, image, colors) in building the site to design specifications
• Meet regularly and coordinate with MSI’s Communications Team to present progress and receive feedback on changes
• Train two communications team members in follow-up upkeep, any specific wikis used

Qualifications:
• SEO optimization experience
• Experienced in using WordPress CMS for multi-layered corporate sites, not blogging
• Bachelor’s in web design, new media, or related to web content implementation
• Experienced in creating interactive maps
• Experienced in using flash
• Expert level usage of HTML, xHTML and other coding
