Total salary package: R1 025 133 per annum. This all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State's contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract (Ref. 76709/1)
Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of an appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and extensive strategic management experience at a Senior Management level.

Duties: l Support political principals l Manage and administer the Branch: State Protocol l Initiate policy formulation
l Provide protocol support to the Presidency and DIRCO principals l Provide protocol support to foreign dignitaries
l Provide protocol advice and support to Government l Manage the day-to-day strategic issues and lead diverse interdisciplinary teams of professional staff l Promote and encourage adherence to protocol guidelines and directives
l Oversee logistical arrangements and protocol support to international conferences hosted by National Government.
