Botswana - Examinations Assistant

The British Council in Botswama is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of an 'Examinations Assistant'.
The work of the Examinations Assistant is about providing support to the Examinations Manager in examinations administration and finance as well as about continuous interaction with customers in many different ways:- via phone, face-to-face at the Front-of-house, responding to e-mail enquiries and registering candidates for different exams.

Job aim:
To provide support to the Examinations Manager in the areas of customer service, examinations administration and finance; inspire and help customers to do business with British Council, understand their needs and provide excellent service.

Duties:
Customer service: to work at the front-of-house, handle enquiries, answer calls, keep front-of-house tidy, deal with complaints, collect data on enquiries and register candidates
Examination administration: to book venues and contact venue staff
Finance: to raise purchase orders, invoices and other basic financial operations; to contact suppliers and get quotations

Terms of employment:
