Description:

The Foreign Policy Association Association is seeking a motivated Summer intern with an interest in international affairs and experience in non-linear video editing.

The intern will be capturing, logging, editing, archiving and exporting foreign affairs related footage for the web. This internship presents a unique opportunity to work with significant foreign affairs content, playing an important role in multiple expanding projects on FPA.org and Foreignpolicyblogs.com

Qualification:

• Final Cut experience required
• Footage transfer experience (P2--> FCP, Camera--> FCP, DVD--> FCP, Mini-DV--> FCP, Deck--> FCP)
• Experience exporting to the web using compressor
• Experience setting up effective FCP environments with redundant backup
• Ability to work with lower 3rds and imported graphics
• Knowledge of After Effects a plus.
