Total salary package: R685 200 per annum. This all-inclusive remuneration package consists
of a basic salary, the State's contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a
flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. The successful
candidate will be required to sign a performance contract (Ref. 76709/2)


Requirements:
l Applicants must be in possession of an appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
l Extensive experience at managerial level.

Duties:
l Implement and ensure compliance with the Diplomatic Immunities and Privileges Act, 2001 (Act No 37 of 2001)
as well as the Policy on the Management of Diplomatic Immunities and Privileges in the Republic of South Africa
l Scrutinise and apply the legislative framework of South African authorities regularising diplomatic privileges in
conjunction with Act 37 of 2001
l Formulate policy, integrated business processes and ensure reciprocal treatment
l Provide guidance and scheduled training to clients and stakeholders on diplomatic regularisation in the RSA
l Implement and ensure compliance with the South African Diplomatic Passport policy l Institute risk management, identify risks and monitor risk profile l Participate in relevant management structures l Manage and supervise staff.
