Field of activity
The project 'Enhancing low-carbon development by greening the economy' supports developing and emerging countries in drafting and implementing strategies for sustainable, ecological and climate-friendly economic activity. Selected partner countries are advised on designing realistic, implementation-oriented measures to promote economic activities that are both climate-friendly and make efficient use of natural resources.

Your qualifications
You have a degree in economics, with a focus on environmental economics/environmental and climate policy, and sustainable development. You have proven sectoral expertise and several years' experience in economic, environmental and climate policies at the international level, with a good knowledge of environmental economics. You have also worked in international cooperation and have hands-on experience of managing knowledge systems and networking at the international level. In addition to an interest in conceptual work, you have good communication skills and a flair for organisational tasks in networks. You are flexible, have good organisational skills, perform well under pressure, and have what it takes to see a task through. For more information, go to www.giz.de.
