We are exploring a possible tender opportunity for a donor funded Program expected to strengthen the health system in Indonesia and are encouraging highly qualified professionals to register their interest for the role of Program Manager.

The Program Manager will be managing the procurement and/or the recruitment of technical assistance and capacity building to support Program implementation. Part of the key tasks are to support the establishment of a Health Policy Network and to operationalise and administer a Civil Society Challenge Fund. The Program Manager will also develop annual Implementing Service Provider (ISP) work plans responsive to Program requirements and report on ISP activity performance and progress.

To be considered for this role, the candidate will need to demonstrate significant health sector experience preferably in the fields of health finance, health human resource, health planning, and health information systems. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to work effectively with Government counterparts to fully understand their needs. Experience in grants management and engagement with civil society, universities and research institutes as well as knowledge of Indonesia's operating environment will be viewed favourably.
