Regional Technical Coordinator
Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) is an Umbrella organization jointly established by Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and Christian Council of Tanzania (CCT) as an ecumenical body since 1992. The Commission supports Church Institutions in delivering quality social (Health and Education) services to people in need regardless of colour, race or creed. It also promotes expansion of health, education and other social services in Tanzania.
Background
CSSC is the main Technical partners of Deloitte Consulting Limited in the implementation of TUNAJALI " program. As technical partner, CSSC is mainly
responsible for the implementation and achievements of Result 4 which in focuses on improving access to quality, integrated and comprehensive HIV care and treatment services in Morogoro, Dodoma, Sing ida, Iringa and Njombe regions; and in collaboration with Deloitte and other sub-partners contribute and support achievements of the other results.
TUANAJALI " is a five years (2012 to 2017) PEPFAR funded program through USAID. The program areas supported include: Adult, Adolescent and Pediatric HIV Care and Treatment, PMTCT, CHBC, TB/HIV Collaborative management, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH), Cervical Cancer Prevention (CECAP) and Laboratory and Pharmacy strengthening.
Job Title: Regional Technical Coordinator
Reporting to: Senior Technical Officer- Care and Treatment
Duty Station: Dodoma
Contract Period: 1 year renewable
Key Qualifications;
Holder of a Medical or Nursing Degree from a recognized university
General Description;
The Regional Technical Coordinator will support coordination of TUNAJALI technical services including training, supportive supervision and onsite mentorship in areas of adult and pediatric ART, PMTCT,
HBC, TB/HIV, laboratory and pharmacy practices in the region.
She/he collaborate with R/CHMTs to organize and attend meetings related to HIV/AIDS services and engage other stakeholders in the target regions to enhance care and treatment services and partnerships.
• Experience working with HIV/AIDS programs is desirable
